Registered Nurses (RNs) are not authorised to buy S4 cosmetic injectable medicines.
Only a medical practitioner (doctor) or nurse practitioner (NP) can buy S4 cosmetic injectable medicines to hold as stock for use at a clinic where they will exercise exclusive custody and control over the stock of S4 medicines .
• RNs are only permitted to possess S4 cosmetic injectable medicines for the purpose of administering a medicine with a prescription, or in accordance with its approved and prescribed label.
I am offering a compliant model to support you through these changes. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) I would have exclusive custody and control of S4 medicines at the clinic.
GV Cosmetics will buy the S4 medicines to hold as stock to use at your clinic. Following a client consultation, which may include a telehealth consultation, they can prescribe an S4 cosmetic injectable medicine for an authorised person to:
The prescribing may or may not be done by me . It is totally acceptable that another Dr or NP prescribes your order .
