sore teeth or jaw ache

THERAPEUTICS TREATMENT

Bruxism- Treating the masseter muscle (the large muscle that moves the jaw) weakens the muscle to stop involuntary teeth grinding or clenching when either awake or asleep. Chronic teeth grinding can cause headaches, earaches, facial pain and even migraines. Teeth grinding or clenching causes dental problems such as teeth chipping or flattening, loss of tooth enamel.

Results may vary for each person.

Migraine

Migraine sufferers often have persistent pain that can be quite debilitating. Specialised treatments are available that may provide some relief.

Hyperidrosis

Excessive sweating is often very embarrassing for many. Additional to other treatments we have a solution that you are welcome to discuss with the team.

Hay Fever

Allergic rhinitis commonly known as hay fever develops when the body’s immune system becomes sensitized and overreacts to something in the environment. Allergic rhinitis takes two different forms:

  • Seasonal: Symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis can occur in spring, summer and early fall. They are usually caused by allergic sensitivity to airborne Mold spores or to pollens from grass, trees and weeds.
  • Perennial: People with perennial allergic rhinitis experience symptoms year-round. It is generally caused by dust mites, pet hair or dander, cockroaches or mould. Underlying or hidden food allergies rarely cause perennial nasal symptoms.

Some common hay fever symptoms include:

  • Runny nose
  • Itchy eyes, mouth or skin
  • Sneezing
  • Stuffy nose due to blockage or congestion
  • Fatigue (often reported due to poor quality sleep as a result of nasal obstruction)

This treatment doesn’t involve an injection. It involves dripping S4 medication into each nostril that potentially opens up the nasal canal, desensitising the nerve ending and prevents inflammation which may help the majority of hay fever sufferers by reducing their symptoms.
